The day that we visited Assisi, we had already driven from Spoleto to San Gimignano to Siena, and finally to Assisi. We did not have a great deal of time to check out Assisi before sunset and as we were walking around, I came across this view as the sun was setting. I ended up standing right here for about 2 hours firing shots of the sunset over the countryside below Assisi.
This image is from Gubbio, Italy. Everywhere you walk in this quaint town there are stairways and roads leading up and down. Gubbio was one of our favorite stops in Italy. Gubbio is a town and comune in the far northeastern part of the Italian province of Perugia (Umbria). It is located on the lowest slope of Mt. Ingino, a small mountain of the Apennines. from wikipedia.
Today, an image of the beach hut that my wife and I used each day on the beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic during our recent trip for my brother’s wedding.
